A Message from your friends at The LVB
Well friends, it's time to say goodbye.
After much time and consideration, it is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to close the bakery, with our final day of service being Thursday, April 27th.
Please know that this has been a heartbreaking decision, but is ultimately the best choice for us and our family. The last five years of business ownership have been filled with fantastic highs and learning opportunities, alongside unprecedented challenges and health crises, both public and personal.
While the business did well and we have been very lucky to have made it through the pandemic, our priorities have shifted to focus on our personal health and wellness, which we have been sacrificing in many ways over the past five years.
We have treasured the opportunity to be a part of this community and grow as both people and bakers, and are forever grateful to each and every person who has supported us over the years. We were hopeful to pass this established business on to another driven entrepreneur, to give someone the opportunity like we were given all those years ago, but it just wasn't in the cards.
During our last 2 weeks, we'll be adjusting our hours and menu to accomodate our staff and current inventory levels. We will be baking as much as we possibly can with what we have, so please use the online store to guarantee you get your bread & pastries before they're gone (if you haven't been using our pre-order system before, now is the time to do it!).
We have lots of merch that we'd love to see on your beautiful bods, so get yours and help us commemorate what was one hell of a ride known as The Lake Village Bakery.
We hope you come celebrate with us over the next two weeks that we're open, and we appreciate your positivity and support as we move foward to the next stage of our lives.
Love & Loaves,
Meagan & Ian

The Lake Village Bakery
About Our Bakery
Founded in 2012, The Lake Village Bakery is a traditional artisan sourdough bakery that brings fresh, healthy and delicious products to our community. Husband and wife team, Meagan and Ian Young-Bibby, bought the bakery in 2018, strengthening our commitmentย to using locally sourced, sustainable ingredients where possible. We take delight in serving amazing baked goodies to the South Okanagan and weโre proud to call Osoyoos home.
